About Sathva
Hi, I'm Harsha Amarasinghe ๐
Software engineer and pet lover from Sri Lanka
When I was looking for a pet, it was hard. I scrolled through classified sites and Facebook groups for weeks, sent messages that nobody answered, and never knew who had the kind of pet I wanted.
So I built Sathva (เทเถญเทเท, "animal" in Sinhala): a free place where owners can find good homes for their pets, and where you can simply post what you are looking for and let owners come to you.
What Sathva stands for
- ๐Free for everyone. No fees for posting, chatting or adopting.
- ๐กEvery pet deserves a caring home, so free adoption is as easy as selling.
- ๐ก๏ธYour phone number stays private until you agree on a deal, and chat photos are private.
- ๐พOnly domestic animals. Protected native wildlife can never be listed.
